default
Posted on Sat, 27 Aug 2016
Question: in my left leg, just below the knee crease close to the exterior of the leg, it feels like something is vibrating inside...( in know this sounds nuts, its is the best way to describe it) no heat to the touch no pain no discoloration, no crazy exercise or anything out of the normal in recent activity. This started about 4 days ago. should i be concerned?

Brief Answer:
Hello. This sounds like a peripheral neuropathy problem

Detailed Answer:
Hello, unless there's an actual vibration that you can feel, in which case this would be muscular fasiculations, this must be a nerve inflammation problem.

It could be a pinched nerve either at the level of your knee or perhaps from a disc problem in your lumbar spine.

It could also be from a magnesium deficiency or a low serum calcium level.

You should see your doctor about this and were I your doctor I would get some blood work and nerve conduction studies of the leg

Please let me know if you need any more information
