Question: Dear sir since 6-8 m months I was feeling a tingling sensation on my left finger some time on left arm, and near left cervical also some times on feet. This feeling was usually comming and going. I consulted a Nuerologist for this he performed ncv,mri of brain and cervical spine. All the reports were normal. Neurologist told me this may be because of stress and told me to keep it in oobservstion. Then after few days I visited gastrolist as Iways feel fulness of stomach too on left side. He performed medical test such as endoscopy and vitamin B12. He observed gastritis problem and also my vitamin B12 was very low only 264. He recommend me medicine for gastrisis and mecabolmin injections.4-5 months I took medicine and feel good.but now again iam feeling tingling sensation and new problem of weakness and vertigo. I contacted again Nuerologist who given me stress tablet. But iam still feeling symtom of vertigo and sometimes tingling in finger. Could you please suggest why drop of vit B12 was there gradually and whom I should consult a gastro or its Nuerological problem. Pls suggest how I should proceed to get rid of these problem.

Brief Answer:
Hydroxocobalamin injections

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Vitamin B12 is vital for the formation of red blood cells, as well as for the proper functioning and health of nerve tissue. If left untreated, vitamin B12 deficiency, also known as B12 deficiency, can lead to anemia, as well as nerve and brain damage, which may eventually become irreversible.
If the deficiency continues untreated the patient may have the following neurological signs and symptoms like tingling in finger and vertigo.
Adults need 2.4 mcg of vitamin B12 in their body.
People with Crohn's disease, as well as people who have had their bowels surgically shortened, may have problems absorbing vitamin B12 into their bloodstream.
I recommend u consult a gastroenterologist.
Treatment of vit B12 deficiency includes Hydroxocobalamin injections which is a form of B12. It is injected into a muscle every two to four days. After about six injections the patient should have a good store of B12.
In the majority of cases the patient will notice significant improvements in symptoms soon after receiving injections.
Annual blood tests are common, to monitor the success of treatment.
Most patients require booster injections of B12 every three months for the rest
Vegetarians who do not eat eggs, as well as vegans should make sure their B12 intake is adequate. There are various breakfast cereals which are fortified with vitamin B12. Some brands of nutritional yeast are also good sources of B12. Some types of soy milk are fortified with B12.
A standard multivitamin contains 6 micrograms of vitamin B12, which is more than enough to cover an average person's daily requirement.
People who eat meat and/or fish - a balanced diet containing fish, meat and dairy foods should have enough B12 for human requirements.

Hope i answered your query

Brief Answer:
Vitamin B12 injection

Detailed Answer:
Hi
The normal value of serum vitamin B12 ranges from about 200 to 900 picogram/ml with a mean value of around 450 pg/ml.
Vitamin B12 injection sometimes causes neurological side effects such as numbness on one side of body so u do not have to worry.
My suggestion is to go for injection Eldervit in your case. It comes as a combination pack of two vials. First vial contains vitamin B12, 2500mcg with Folic acid 0.7mg, and Niacinamide 12 mg and second vial contains Vitamin C, 150 mg. The first and second vial are to be mixed together as mixing causes better absorption of vitamin B12. About 10 injections may be required initially in one month depending upon the severity of deficiency. Later one injection every two months is good as a maintenance dose.
Since i am from XXXXXXX i do not know any doctor from XXXXXXX

Dear sir thanks for reply before closing the discussion I just wanted to confirm suppose I go to gastroenterologist at what range I should start taking the B12 injection and at what range I should stop taking the dose.
What could be the reason of drop of B12 in my body. As per gastro surgeon whom I consulted was due to gastritis. So whether again I should start the medicine for that too or also I need to c consult a Nuerologist also again.

Brief Answer:
Gastro doctor

Detailed Answer:
Hi
U should start taking medicine if your vitamin B12 level is lower than 200 picogram/ml
When it has reached 450 pg/ml u can stop the medicine.
U should start medications of gastritis given by your doctor and reconsult your gastroenterologist if needed.
