Brief Answer:
It can be due to UTI.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your question.

It can be due to UTI (urinary tract infection) as you are diabetic, in advanced age and have a vaginal infection.

Are you suffering pain during urination?
Are you having fever?
What is the underlying color of your urine?

Please revert back to me with my answer, and so I will be able to give my opinion to you.

Hope to hear soon from you.

Good luck.

Brief Answer:
You require investigation.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I'm so sorry for my delayed response.

It can be due to lower urinary tract infection.

You should go and consult physician and obtain your examination and investigation (urinalysis, urine culture and sensitivity and ultrasonography lower abdomen test) done to rule out the cause and see which organism is involved and which antibiotic is effective in your case.

Advice from my side-

- Drink plenty of water orally
Maintain good basic hygiene
-Take a pain killer as advice from your treating physician
-Emptying of bladder in good order
-Quit smoking and avoid drinking alcohol
-keep your sugar level balanced
-Need an antibiotic course for 5-7 days as advice of your treating doctor
-Keep your blood pressure under control.

Usually your symptoms get resolved with treatment in 4-5 days if it continues, then go for some more test after consulting your treating physician. (Because there are other causes of UTI).

Hope that it is useful and informative.

Please feel free to discuss and add more

Good luck.
Regards
Dr.Richa
