Question: hi I have attached the picture of my two year old daughter who seem to have developed done blisters under her thighs around her genital. more near the back thigh and genitals. a very few one or two best her elbow and feet maybe two to three. can you please urgently confirm what it could be? no fever nothing on the face or back out chest our stomach or any other place. could it be rashes? then how come on hands and feet though very less.she is feeling very itchy and irritation.

I have gone carefully through the details and have checked the attached images. Our skin contains oil secreting glands called sebaceous glands. Due to some reason if the mouth of these glands gets blocked, the secretions get collected inside giving rise to sebaceous cysts identical to ones you see in your daughter. Usually they are not a cause of concern but they can get infected and can give rise to boils. Maintenance of proper hygiene is essential. You would need to give her a regular bath with proper soap scrubbing. Other than that you can apply some antibacterial ointment like T-Bact (mupirocin) in case you feel that there could be an infection, if secretions start coming or the base becomes hard. Otherwise you need not worry.
