What Causes Tingling Sensation In Penis?

Question: My boyfriend is 31 and has been intermittently experiencing a tingling sensation in his penis for the last week. Over the last few days the tingling sensation has gotten more frequent. His penis looks completely normal and he isn't experiencing any pain at all. Do you know what this might be? Do you think this could be an std? I am not experiencing any symptoms at all. This is really worrying me. He is going to the doctor on Monday, but I would like to know what this might be sooner. Thank you for your time.

1) Do yo have Oral sex very frequently ?

The tinging in penis is mostly due to inflammation of urethral mucosa .

He needs to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefotaxime along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily .

Ensure to wash your genitals with warm water twice daily.

Ensure to avoid sexual encounters and oral sex till it heals up completely.

Practice safe and protected sex .
