default
Posted on Fri, 6 Jun 2014
Question: I have several issues I do not understand. I get a tingling between my eyes, to include the area at the top of the bridge of my nose. It seems to affect my eyes for an hour or so and then goes away. Couple of time I was afraid I was going blind. I also get bad headaches and my neck hurts 24/7. I was told I had white spots on my brain but Dr. did not know why about 8 years ago. next question. My feet hurt all the time some tingling and numbness. Hip bones hurt. If I sit to long my legs go to sleep. My ankles swell and I have had skin color changes on top of feet and above ankles. when I rub my feet and legs it is painful. I can trace the pain all the way to the center of my butt. I had breast cancer 6 years ago and had chemo treatments.

Brief Answer:
Non specific to any disease

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I do not find these symptoms fitting to any disease or organ system. However we expect these kind of non specific symptoms post chemotherapy for prolonged time. The fear of the affects of chemo will stay on for longer time and patients are more anxious about them and recurrence of the cancer. But please note that these sx are much less dangerous than cancer itself.

I want to check if the nutritional status is good or not. If the folic acid, B12, Calcium, Magnesium and Iron were properly included in the diet. The neck pain can be explained for bone loss in the cervical vertebra due to growing age, chemotherapy affects. YOu should get Xray / MRI of the cervical spine to determine the cause of neck pain. That is the only specific symptom.

I wish to know the reason for prescribing Benicae, Ambien, Lyrica.
