What Causes Tingling And Numbness In Toes And Balls Of Feet?

default
Posted on Sat, 28 Jun 2014
Question: I have had many blood tests that do not show any neg. results. My symptoms are toe tingling and a numb feeling on both feet and the balls of my feet. I am chronically fatigued. My knees and lower back are sore. I feel like I am crippled when I wake up or sit at my computer too long. I also have bouts of random chilling. I went to a rheumatologist and he said lets wait a while. I think he is distracted by my fitness and that I swim 3x a week. I do not swim like I used to 5 months ago!

Brief Answer:
Rheumatologist

Detailed Answer:
Hello.Delighted to be able to help.
It seems that the blood tests (including rheumatic test I understand ) show no rheumatic pathology. There are other diagnoses (normal blood tests) that the rheumatologist should consider;are Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
If the rheumatologist rule out these diagnoses, pathologies as anxiety-depression can cause the symptoms that you refer, in which case you should be seen by a Psychiatrist.
I Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be happy to help.If you do not have any clarifications, please don’t forget to evaluate my answer.I wish you good health.
