Question: I have a tightness and throbbing in my left calf muscle and leg pains from my shins to my hip
and groin on the left. It is most paineful when I lie down in bed all night. I had a heart attack
four years ago and have the "widow maker" stent. I went to the emergency room here in Florida
and was given pain pills and told to see me doctor in Michigan when I get home. I am very
worried about riding the in the car for two days. XXXXXXX XXXXX YYYY@YYYY
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Following answer to your query.

Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

I do not think that your case is worrisome as long as cardiac tests you did in ER resulted fine.

To my opinion, the pain you are feeling is due to :
- fatigue
- magnesium deficiency
- arthritis.

Continue taking pain killers as prescribed by your doctor. I also advise to massage the area, apply warm clothing, and analgesic cream to ease the pain.

Can take the trip and follow the advice as given earlier.

All the best!
