Brief Answer: Proton pump inhibitor use should help Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for the query. At your age, itching throat at the time of sleep points usually to reflux. The acid during reflux irritates the throat mucosa and leads to itching. Please use a proton pump inhibitor for three weeks before breakfast and avoid spicy, oily and junk food. Another possibility can be some allergen in your bedroom like a quilt or a curtain or some pet in the room. Please try to find out that aspect also and if you suspect something, please avoid that thing and observe. Use of antiseptic gargles before going to bed will also help. Feel free to ask another query. Regards
