Brief Answer:
Expert ENT advise & specific treatment would help.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX.
Thanks for the query under health care magic. I have read it & understood your concern.
The signs you have of chronic sore throat along with pain carried to ear & mild fever- suggests chronic tonsillitis infection which is resistant to the antibiotics you took.( might have white patches on it )/Streptococcal infection ( which is notorious to stay longer, not being affected by routine antibiotics)/ Constant exposure to allergens ( smoking, dust, fumes or others)/Infectious mononucleosis ( infection being carried by kissing )
The pain goes to ear by involvement of Eustachian tube ( tube connecting throat & ear) in the infection/ irritation.Or may be you have an ear infection primarily.. being taken to throat through the tube & causing sore throat.
* In this context I would suggest a through check up of ear & throat along with Throat swab taste or sputum test for culture & sensitivity ( to know about the causative bacteria & suitable antibiotic to treat it )/ allergy screening test / blood sugar tests ( as uncontrolled diabetes can cause persistence of infection)
Treatment would be specific for the cause. I would advise consultation of an ENT specialist for this.
* self care-
- Keep on sucking soothing throat lozenges/ hard candies
- sip water frequently
- Saline gargles
- Avoid irritating food like sour , fried or spicy eatables. Take mild & nutritious food, drink lot of warm water.
- avoid known allergens dust, fumes, smoking
- Avoid breathing with mouth
- A prolonged antibiotic course of antibiotics may be advised. Take the prescribed medicines carefully.
Thus with an expert advise of an ENT doctor & self care would get you out of the trouble.. please do not worry.
