Question: I have had scalp tenderness for a little over a year. It hurts to have my head on a pillow, on the back of a chair and I also have pain when the wind blows my hair. I also have a lot of itching of the scalp.

You should provide more details.
Use of local anesthesia is a short lasting procedure.
