What Causes Swelling Under Scrotum?
Question: I have swelling since past two days under scrotum for which iam taking antibioic buttill now the swelling hasnt reduced hence kindly request you to giv me a guidance please.i consulted the doctor he said its an normal infection and prescribed me to take 1. oratil (250) 2.vertory s p for two days which I did.instantly the pain is decreasing but after 7hrs again normal stage and swelling its always in same stage hence kindly request you advice me with remedy too.iam also tried through applying ice cubes on the swelling sir

According to your symptoms you have developed abscess in the area mentioned. In your case the antibiotic is not effective.
The cause may be either the pus is too thick which needs drainage or the antibiotic is less effective for the situation.
I suggest you to consult your doctor and discuss with him regarding using higher antibiotics like an ofloxacin & ornidazole combination which are usually used for that area or surgical drainage.
The need for surgical drainage can be accessed by examining the site, I.e how much painful it is to touch and skin has become red etc . Continue ice cube application. If it was responding to antibiotics then the size should had reduced little atleast .
