What Causes Swelling In The Left Side Of The Face?
Question: I have had some minor swelling in the past couple of days, on the right side of my face, located near the righr paranasal sinus. This morning I woke up and the whole right side of my face is swollen, from under the eye to below the mouth. My temp is normal. My teeth do not hurt. Should I see an ER or Urgent care? I do not own a XXXXXXX phone.

Swelling in the face, even partially can be due to :
- local trauma
- skin infection
- mouth/teeth problems
- contact dermatitis
As you do not own a XXXXXXX phone to send in a photo, and if the swelling is as spreading, I highly recommend to go to ER as soon as possible.
Immediate diagnosis and treatment is required to prevent further spread.
