Sorry. I gave a detailed description twice, and tried to include blood work, and doppler test results. I'm working on a tablet with difficulty, each time I try to include a file. I'm having a full blown aniexity attack. When I settle down, I will respond. Is there an e mail I could send info to? Each time, I lose everything. Very frustrated. Might be tomorrow. Thank you for your patience. XXXXXXX

XXXXXXX you fot your patients (pun intended). I hope you will be able to see the attachments. Picture-very painful when I apply trigger point pressure to the circled area. Causes almost complete foot numbness. Swelling was present 2 months ago when I had knee drained, and a cortisone shot. Swelling not to bad at the time. Dr. (Ortho) said probaly water, not concerend. Scheduled forSYNVISC shot on friday. Also get epidurals in l4, l5 for back pain. Dr is aware of numbness, and tinglining-prescribed neroten (3yrs) . Has helped. 1 mo. Ago swelling started in extreme. Could hardly get shoe on. Went to pcp, he sent me directly to hosp for doppler. Normal. Saw cardiologist within days.( Pcp called, and insisted on immeadite appt). He felt swelling was from knee support. Had to fight him to get compression socks. Do have an "unloader" brace, tight above and below knee. Pain and swelling and tingling getting worse despite socks, elavation, brace on or off. All cardo ok. All drs. aware of a1c being high. MONO, HGB always high with sodium being always low. Pcp ordered GAA Assay. Acid 12.3, neutral24.5. Both above control. What kind of dr. should I try to see? Thank you again for your patience. I know I'm pushing the limits. XXXXXXX

Brief Answer: The brace could be compressing the nerve Detailed Answer: Hi XXXXXXX Is the circled area on the outside of your leg? If so this is over your common peroneal nerve and it may be that the brace you are wearing is causing nerve compression and inflammation of the nerve which would be responsible for your symptoms. Most bracing companies will work with you to make sure the brace fits you comfortably and so you should call them and let them know the issues you are having and ask for adjustment. The picture and scanned documents are poor quality and I'm having trouble making out the writing particularly on the last one. The blood work looks fairley normal with the exception of your blood glucose which is high. You pain sounds neurological but as I said may be related to the brace and so I would go without the brace for the next few days and see if your symptoms improve whilst at the same time asking the bracing supplier to look at the fitting for you. I hope this answers your questions. Best wishes
