Brief Answer:
Emergency admission might not be a good idea in terms of management

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. The situation is indeed difficult. I do not think that trying to get him admitted at Mayo on emergency basis is a good idea. Although it can be done, I think that a better approach would be to consult a psychiatrist as well a psychologist and to plan an admission accordingly.

The best way would be to get an appointment from a psychiatrist as well a psychologist at Mayo.

Let me know if I could help further.

Regards
