Never before and no seizures, headaches or memory loss. My cough was from congestion in my lungs. It made it difficult to cough up the congestion.the smells are strong at times and then nonexistent.

Brief Answer:
Possible sinusitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your response.
In view of the above history, I am pretty sure that you are probably developing nasopharyngeal infection or sinusitis.
What medicines did you take?

Brief Answer:
My suggestions

Detailed Answer:
Right.
So you took nothing for the cough.
I would suggest testing with chest x ray, x ray PNS water's view, Sputum culture, CBC and FBS (blood test).
I would recommend meeting a ENT specialist to look for nasopharyngeal infection.
Meanwhile, start-
1. Steam inhalation 4 times a day.
2. Warm saline gargles 4 times a day.
3 Plenty of fluids.
4. Multivitamins once a day.
Regular medications to continue.
You will need to meet a physician to start antibiotics as per the local sensitivity of the area.
I have made it as simple as possible.
You may feel free to contact us for more information.
Best of luck,
Dr Mittal
