Posted on Tue, 26 May 2015
Question: Hi iv got stomach pain that hurts when I stand and walk. I have to walk slightly bent over. It started today but I thought it might have been indigestion - I don't get that either often. Took milanta in the morning felt slightly better then came back in the afternoon. Took more milanta and want to vomit. And had pain ever since. Just had a shower and can't walk upright. Also hurts when I push upwards from my belly button. Iv also got a sore lower back like around where my kindeys are. What is this haha

Brief Answer:
Food poisoning /gastroenteritis to consider

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

The pain you feel might be due to :
- possible food poisoning
- or to acute gastroenteritis

Mylanta alone cannot help. I advise to start any of OTC PPIS like omeprazole.

Probiotics to be added to optimize intestinal flora.

Have light meals ( soups, yoghurt, banana, rice, etc.).

Hope it was of help! Wish fast recovery!
