What Causes Stomach Pain During Defecation In Infant?
Question: My son is two months 12 days old and sometimes before doing poo he crys a lot and won't stop until he completes his poo almost 30 minutes. Some times in days he makes sounds like ah ah and continues. Need to understand why he is doing.
One more point we are feeding him the cow milk since from day one as some issue with wife breast milk as it's not comming fully, so in a day he takes 30% breast milk and 70% cows milk.

Cow's milk is not advisable to be given before one year of age.
Starting cow's milk early will lead to intolerance an c iron deficiency.
It can cause small ulcers in the intestine.
The crying while your child passes poop could be because of this cow's milk.
I would suggest you to stop cow's milk.
Start formula milk like Similac advanced.
Continue breastfeeding.
For the pain I would usually give my patients colicaid drops around 0.3 ml three times daily for three days.
This will decrease the pain and help in free passage.
