What Causes Stomach Ache With Diarrhea And Bloating?
Question: Last 2 days of stomach ache in the morning as I wake up. The ailment started with what seemed to have been a stormy reaction to food poisoning eaten in a fancy gala dinner 5 nights ago. I had uncontrollable ball movements, non-stop diarrhea, and bloated vomit type symptoms (but never vomited) which tapered off a bit by now. Now I have the pain horizontally across below my sternum.
I need the answer ASAP. You should have notified that the doctor's response is not immediate. I understand and like peer reviewing of the answer, but immediacy is key to most of such enquiries online.

You seem to be suffering from acute colitis secondary to bacterial infection and toxins.
I would recommend the following for you
Antibacterial quinolone drug ( rules of the website prevent me from prescribing a particular drug)
Anti motility agent like Imodium
Probiotic capsules
Proton pump inhibitor
Anti emetic agent
Oral rehydrating solution three times a day.
I would sincerely recommend that you should visit a ER and have a BP check. if this is low you will need inpatient treatment with intravenous antibiotics and fluids.
You can hold onto metformin till this episode resolves.
