Question: Hi doctor i need help. What do you think i have?
Ever since Sunday when i got off my period, i have had stomach aches, stomach pains, nausea, bloating, and a lot of gas. However, i can fart of poop anything out! When i force a fart it hurt my abdomen. It is on and off, so could it be something i am eating? Could i be becoming lactose intolerant? Or is it something else? I seem to always have this symptoms now.
I also ended birth control two months ago after being on it for eight months.

Brief Answer:
5 day course of proper medicines- need a prescription of a Doctor

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.

The most probable reason as per the history you have provided is :
Gastroenteritis- the pain, nausea, bloating and lots of gas all indicate this.

I would advise you the following in such a case:
Investigations of blood, urine and stool.

Get a course of an antibiotic against intestinal infection, metronidazole, probiotic, activated charcoal tablets, PPI / Raniditine for 5 days.
If you get a complete relief nothing else is needed to be done.

If there is partial recovery or no good effect go for further investigations like ultrasonography and Endoscopies.

I do not think this is something to do with something you are eating / lactose or something else including birth control.

I hope this answer helps you to get a proper guideline of treatment and further care id need be.

Brief Answer:
as explained.

Detailed Answer:
Such infections are water/ food borne.
This is quite common. Some people do not manifest the problems , but you had it.
This does not look to be serious at the moment, but definitely worthwhile to see the doctor

I don't expect any unusual visit during the doctor visit. Your Doctor would listen to your history, ask some direct questions, may do a physical / clinical examination of the you and the abdomen and prescribe you some medicines and may ask for some tests if He/ She feels so.

Please do not worry, you will be alright soon, the moment you will start on a medicines.
