It is a localized pain in my abdomen that overcomes me usually once a month or so and it will last for about ten minutes. Drinking water makes it go away. No dizziness or nausea. It is like someone has knocked the wind out of me.

MEDICINE
200 mg Zoloft for depression
450 mg Clozapine for Schizophrenia (I think it is a false diagnosis)
36 mg Concerta for ADD
40 mg Prilosec for acid reflux and esophageal ulcer.

I have been on Clozapine for about nine years.
I have been on Zoloft for five years.
I have been on Concerta for one year.

My job is screenwriting and musician.

The symptom comes randomly; laying down or standing up.
I have no anxiety. The Clozapine is responsible for weight gain. I get the urge to vomit on a daily basis. I try to eat healthy; meats, dairy, grains, vegetables...
I smoke cigarettes and I am trying to quit. I only drink alcohol occasionally.

It has been discovered that Clozapine may cause a white blood cell problem which could lead to diabetes. My psychiatrist and parents will not let me quit taking my medicine.

Mostly due to Orthostatic Hypotension from Antipsychotics.

Hi,Thanks for your updates.
Reviewed your updates in context of feeling of someone squeezing inside and feeling of being punched in stomach and it relief by water drinking.

In My opinion-(Diagnosis of your problem and suggested remedy)
you have drug induced Orthostatic Hypotension, which is adding to your job stress, which mostly you can't change.Adding Fludrocortisone is the only solution for you.
You are on antipsychotics since long for variety of psychiatric problem.
All these complaints are suggestive of Vagal / parasympathetic toning effect on stomach, which is induced by the Orthostatic Hypotension causing postural hypotension.

Suggestions for your health -
-The job profile of your's makes you more susceptible to postural hypotension with high concentration job, neglecting your regular fluid intakes.
-I would suggest you to consult for Second opinion from another Psychiatrist and your Psychiatrist and to request for drug overdoasges if any.
-I would suggest you to have Fludrocortisone addition to counter this orthostatic hypotension which you suffer occasionally
-Would suggest Proton-with domeperidone for daily nausea /vomit controls with advise from your Psychiatrist,to replace your prilosec drug.
-If you can control smoking that would be a boon for your health.

Hope this would help you to correct your stomach related problem by better understanding of your health issues and its health limitations ,as you have to be on Antipsychotics for the various psychiatric problems you possess.

Hope this reply would help you to tune up your lifestyle and your drugs and could plan better balanced treatment as suggested above under guidance of Your Psychiatrist, who is doing a commendable job for you.

Welcome for any further query in this regard.
If Satisfied, Will appreciate You , to write excellent feedback comments of your experience with Me, to help needy patients like YOU,at MY clinic in HCM services.
