Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to healthcare magic. I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns today.

It is good to know that you are responding toTranaxemic acid.
Don't get so worried about the bleeding. There is treatment availabie for it.
This heavy bleeding at this age can be due to several causes. Have you consulted Gynecologist for this heavy bleeding? Have you had an ultrasound and endometrial biopsy to confirm that this bleeding is just due to hormonal imbalance and there is no apparent pathology for this bleeding.

In such a scenario, the treatment options will be:
1. Mirena intrauterine system insertion
2. Endometrial ablation- where the lining of endometrium is burnt with microwave energy
3. Hysterectomy

I hope this is helpful.
If you have further concerns, do write to me.
Bestveishes,
Dr Rama

Details below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
I appreciate your concerns.

You do not need surgery. I just wrote that as one of the options for treatment.
What is important is that you need to get an ultrasound and endometrial biopsy done. The very fact that you are responding to the medicines suggest that the excessive bleeding could just be due to age related hormone imbalance. But other causes need to be excluded. Hence above mentioned investigations are necessary. Please consult your doctor on telephone. They can help you with the PTSD you are suffering.

With my experience I don't think that you will start
flooding again. Now you can stop Tranaxemic acid and be on Mefenemic acid alone.
Make up your mind to visit Gynecologist. Then it will be easy for you.
Wishing you good health,
Best wishes,
Dr Rama.
