What Causes Sore Bruise Around Anal Area Post Anal Sex?
Question: Hi, I had anal sex for the first time 4 days ago. It's been sore ever since. We didn't use lubrication at the time and it was pretty rough. I've been feeling a little dull itching recently and when I spread my bottom to see my anus it has a dark circle around it like a bruise. Is this just due to rough sex??

What are you experiencing is due to rough sex. After reading your story I would like to do a few comments:
1. You should use a lot of lubrication during anal sex. The rectum doesn't have the natural lubrication as your vagina this is why it needs to use a lot of lube during anal sex.
2. Your partner should be very delicate during anal sex. Anal sex shouldn't be rough in order to cause you pain or dark circle around your anus area. Rough anal sex may cause anal fissure, hemorrhoids and other rectal trauma that needs time to be healed.
If you were my patients I would like to suggest you to:
- use Preparation H
- avoid constipation
- use sitz bath
- avoid anal sex for 1 month
