What Causes Soft Protrusion Inside Vagina?

I have a soft, wrinkly protrusion just inside my vagina, on the front wall. I've had it for as long as I can remember. It doesn't hurt. I just realised that in diagrams of the vagina, it doesn't have this protrusion. It feels like a ball of muscle just inside the vaginal opening.

It is to be understood that the vaginal mucous has rugosity and has multiple folded appearance in general and sometimes after being sexually active these rugosities of mucous may become more pronounce and can appear like protrusions. IT is likely to be normal mucous rugosity as it is painless , not hard and appears skin like.
Another possibility is HYMENAL -TAG which is actually a remnant of broken hymen after the first intercourse and can be present near the opening of the vaginal introitus and may be confused with a growth or swelling by the lady.
However it would be better if you can upload a picture of the lesion which you are concerned about which can allow us to give a better opinion.
Else you may visit your physician for a per speculum examination and evaluation of the wrinkly protrusion in vaginal wall.
