Doctor has advised the duolin and budecord nebulisation for the season and suspects its because of the weather changes ?
Some time he get sever cough during night and then vomits .

Brief Answer:
They are safe

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for asking on Healthcaremagic.

Let me assure you that these are very commonly used medicines and no side effects are generally seen even when used on long term basis. Nebulization is not at all harmful. Rather the water that gets delivered deep into the lungs helps in diluting the cough and provides relief. This is what saline water nebulization does. The medicines give an additional benefit of relieving bronchospasm.

You need not worry. Just continue the medicines as directed. Since they reach the lungs directly without needing to get absorbed in the blood stream, there is no need to worry about side effects.

If I had a patient like him, I would perhaps have given him Montair LC (monteleukast + levocetirizine) syrup along. Please discuss with your doctor about inclusion of this medicine. Your doctor has otherwise treated in the right direction. You may rely on his judgement.

Hope that helps.
