What Causes Small Intramural Uterine Fibroids?

Question: U Hi Doctor,

My age is 29 years and weight is 65kg. I am trying to concieve from last 4 months. I got my TVS and follicular study done. Other tests are also fine including blood gp,TSH, RUBELLA Ig G, AMH, fasting and pp insulin. My cycles are also regular
All tests of my husband are also done and report is ok.
TVS observations says ovaries are normal, no free fluid in pouch of XXXXXXX and small intramural uterine fibroids.Uterus is anteverted and endometrium is central.
Follicular study of last day was Right ovary - 16.0*10 and Left ovary 24.9*18.9
Endometrium was 7.9 mm.
On this last study day doc advised me to take HCG 10,000 IU injection, which I didn't prefer to have due to lack of knowledge.
I have been tracking my ovulation and it comes out to be positive on the expected date.
Someone told me that fallopian tubes blockage could be the reason.
Please advise if I should go for this test or wait for some more time.

Brief Answer:
HSG ADVISED

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for trusting health care magic.
It is good that ovulation test was positive and hence confirming ovulation.
But in case your fallopian tubes are blocked there will not be a conduit to deliver the egg from your ovary inside the uterus and thus impossible to conceive naturally thereby all efforts are in vain.
So get tubal testing done via HSG (hysterosalpingograph) and see the patency and then approach further.
In case you have any questions about it, I will be glad to answer.

thank you doctor.
i have heard that it usually takes 6 months for an healthy female to concieve,so isn't it too early to go for this test. Can you infer anything from my reports which can tell about the blockage in fallopian tubes.

Brief Answer:
Wait for 6 months

Detailed Answer:
Since you had just a single ultrasound so far and no blood tests, i cannot comment much about the reason for inability to conceive so far.
Your ultrasound is normal and the small fibroid mentioned is not harmful and is just an incidental finding.
Any couple who wishes to conceive should try for at least 6 months so as to start the investigations.
So better wait for at least 6 months and get only simple blood tests TSH, serum prolactin.
Also get semen analysis of your husband and then we can discuss further management. HSG will be required only in case you dont conceive in coming few months.
so just wait for results of these blood tests and dont be anxious about it as yet.
take care
