Brief Answer:
Treat infection source. Effective antibiotic?

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and I am glad to assist you. You should treat the infection around the wisdom tooth. A deep scale or an extraction are the most likely treatment options.
Have you had dental x-rays? Can you tell me more details concerning your wisdom tooth? This could be the source causing respiratory and sinus infections. You need to treat the source.
You may need a different prescription antibiotic such as Zithromax z-pac with your ear and respiratory symptoms. Antibiotics need time in your system to be effective and remember to take as directed. If symptoms not continuing to lessen after two to three full days, report your condition to the clinc and inquire about changing the medication. What antibiotics have been effective for your sinus infections in the past? Anti-inflammatory medications may offer you some relief. Benadryl is an effective antihistamine to help control you symptoms. You may, also, have a viral condition which need to run a course to clear out of your system. Again, lessen symptoms with anti-inflammatory medications such as Tylenol or Advil. These will help reduce your fever. Keep hydrated.
Thank you for your inquiry. I am available to provide additional information when you answer my questions and look forward to hearing back from you. If your symptoms worsen significantly, return to the clinic immediately.
