Question: i had a cordizone in jection in my shoulder about 3 hours ago and now am experiencing pain in that shoulder. everything i read says that is common and should go away in a day. is that correct. I have a possible torn rotater cuff

However, should this fail to happen, then let me know so that we can re-examine the arm to make sure there is nothing we are missing and probably prescribed pain medications to address this. This pain is often cause by local inflammation from the injection and usually resolves with a day. Let me know how it goes.

For now, ice, rest and Tylenol would be of additional help. Unless otherwise, all would soon settle.
