Question: I have been experiencing shortness of breath, difficulty breathing and slight chest pains for the past 3-4 days since arriving in the Canadian Rockies.

Thank you for your prompt reply Friday. I immediately checked into the closest ER. Aftwer blood wor, EcG and chest x ray, i was diagnosed with four blood clots in lungs and lower chest. On blood thinners, had oxygen/heart monitoring for first day. Day three, am resting in hospital, feeling much better.

Early diagnosis and treatment is the key factor in good prognosis of pulmonary embolism.
Honestly speaking, pulmonary embolism is confirmed only by CT pulmonary angiography.
So please let me know
1. Did you have CT pulmonary angiography?
2. What was your blood pressure readings?

Yes, i had a chest x ray, CT scan and lots of blood tests. BP is 132/85. Oxygen level was 87 when i checked in, now up to 94. Staying in hospital untill Tuesday and then getting a Echo test.
