What Causes Sharp Pains And Pressure Under Breasts?

default
Posted on Thu, 5 Feb 2015
Question: I am having some sharp pains and pressure right underneath my breasts in the middle. I have acid reflux but take my medicine daily, omeprazole. I haven't eaten anything spicy today. I am nauseous and have thrown up once. The pain is getting worse and now I'm dizzy. I want to avoid a trip to the ER if it's only going to be something minor like gas...but I have never felt this before. Can you please help?

Brief Answer:
Seems like Acute gastritis

Detailed Answer:
Hello

I understand your concerns about pain.

This pain is definitely due to acid reflux which is little more.

You need to stay upright for next 3 hours and don't sleep.

Please take rantac tablets available over the counter. I also suggest Mucaine gel twice a day.
If you will not feel better then visit your doctor, do plan for change medications and endoscopy if needed.

Medications omeprazole with levosulpride will help you. Please discuss about this your doctor.

You will find relief.
