Question: I have sharp pain on the left side of my stomach. Yesterday it was in my back, same area. I am not vomiting and do not have diarrhea. I haven't had a bowel movement in 3 days. No fever or jaundice.
Any idea what my problem is?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.

This may indicate pancreatitis even if you don't have other symptoms such as nausea, vomiting and fever.

You should get an abdominal ultrasound scan done and check you pancreatic enzymes (Amylase and Lipase mainly). This will reveal possible pancreatic pathology.

Other causes may be related to spleen or left kidneys but these are less common.

Feel free to ask further.
Wish you good health.
