What Causes Sharp Pain In The Right Side Of Head?
Question: i had a jolt twinge this morning on the side of my right side of my head this morning. i took advil it went away…cannot explain sort of like a jump?

If you are sure that it was thunderclap pain and lasted at least one hour, you should consult with a Neurologist at the earliest. A detailed neurologic examination, and if supported by neurologic examination findings brain imaging studies is needed.

If you felt the pain OUTSIDE your brain, or under the skin, it is possible to be related to TMJ, or could be nerve pain.
If you felt the pain INSIDE your head, a neurologic examination needed to evaluate further your condition.
In my opinion, since the pain didn't last longer and was stopped by NSAID, it is most likely to be related to TMJ, or any nerve pain.

No not at all a sharp pain it just felt like a twitch/jerk on my right side of head.
It happened a two three times i took advil and it went away. no pain at all.

i think i am hypercontrica….or maybe i think i am 54 years old
and i am going to die of brain cancer or tumor.
I was just diagnosed with diverdiculitis and i must still be stressed.
i am never dizzy or sick etc. i am in good health. now all i do is worry about
my health!!!
It actually happened after movement with my head. It could be tmj or pain nerve.
What are your thoughts?
