What Causes Sharp Pain In The Lower Abdominal Area?
Question: I am a 41 year old female for the past day I have been experiencing a mild achy sometimes sharp pain near lower right abdomen I am due for my period any day now should I be concerned or can this be part of pms
Brief Answer:
Can be a part of PMS
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have been gone through your question and understand the concerns.
The generalized mild ache and cramps in the lower abdomen is most likely the part of pms.
However, if the pain is localised, then an internal examination and ultrasound of the lower abdomen should be done to rule out any lesion such as ovarian cyst, pelvic infection.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
