Brief Answer:
Please get ultrasound scan and urine culture & sensitivity done

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have gone through your query and I understand your concerns about pain in lower abdomen.

Following is my reply:

1. This sharp pain in the lower abdomen is possibly due to urinary tract infection or due to bladder stones. General stones in urinary tract cause such pain.

2. I suggest you first get an ultrasound scan of abdomen to identify if there is any stone in the urinary tract.

3. Ultrasound scan also identifies if there are any cysts in abdomen. These cysts cause pain in some women.

4. Meanwhile give urine for culture and sensitivity test to identify the organism causing urinary tract infection.

5. Please scan and attach copies of any report if you have already got done.
I hope your doubt is clarified. Let me know if you wish any other information.

Regards,
Dr. Soumya

Brief Answer:
Ultrasound scan required

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

As I said previously such pain is experienced in renal stones. Please get ultrasound scan to identify the same.

It is difficult to predict anything without an ultrasound scan.
