What Causes Sharp Pain In The Left Arm?

Question: I suddenly had a shootjng sharp pain at the right side rabbit below my left arm. Which last a few seconds and just now when I sit down and tried to bend my body or stretch to the left side. There is a sudden shooting pain again. What could it be. Could it be muscle spasm?

The description that you have given is suggestive of a muscle spasm. Sometimes, it can be due to dehydration, muscle fatigue or electrolyte abnormalities. It is better to drink sufficient fluid and also see that your intake of electrolytes (sodium, potassium, magnesium ) is sufficient. You can drink Oralyte for this.

Hot compress and application of local analgesic gel will also help.
