Brie Answer:
muscle pull needs relaxant tabs.and rest

Detailed Answer:
Hello

You seem to have pulled muscle due to sudden jerk. Most muscles in thigh take origin from around hip and pelvis and sudden twist and jerk may have pulled the fibres. Anyways an X-ray is needed to confirm.

I would suggest application of heat and local application of muscle relaxant gel or cream, light massage in the area and avoid movements for a day or two. Use of Tylenol and chloraxazone tab instead of naproxen as muscle relaxant. Rest in a position that gives maximum comfort to muscles and hip joint. See your doctor to get evaluated and tested.

Hope it helps.

Brief Answer:
chlorxazoe a muscle relaxant

Detailed Answer:
chloraxazone is a class of muscle relaxant and anti-inflammatory medicine.naproxen is NSAID-non-steroidal anti inflammatory which doesn't relax muscle spasm associated with muscle pull or strain.brand name in USA are-lorzone,parrafon forte DSC, paraflex etc.You may consult your local doctor for prescription if he agrees and he may also check the hip joint physically, whether rotation causing pain or not,if rotations are painful then xray?MRI are done for joint injury if sustained, although chances are little.I would advise you fold your knee 30 degrees and rotate your foot both externally and internally to know yourself if it is painful rotation or not.In any case, muscle pull or internal hip injury, lorzone or parrafon forte DSC may be helpful as muscle spasm is there in both instances and may be more beneficial than naproxen which does relief pain but overcoming any associated spasm is desirable and you may find better relief with paraffon forte DSC or lorzone with tylenol
