default
Posted on Mon, 20 Apr 2015
Question: I was at the end of my period, and had been experiencing sharp ovarian pains. I took a nap and when I stood, a gush of clear liquid gushed out, soaking my tampon on through my clothes. It was completely clear and had a slight odor.

Brief Answer:
physiological cervical discharge

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query,
iF you are ending your menses and there has been a sudden gush of clear fluid per vaginum with a slight odour and no other symptom then it is likely to be physiological vaginal discharge under effect of oestrogen increase from the day 2 of cycle.
If there are no other symptoms then you may not worry and rest assured that it is not an infection but just an isolated episode.
