Question: my daughter who is 16 has been dealing with debilitating stomach pain and her mouth waters like she is going to throw up but usually doesn't. She usually needs a bathroom near by after eating because she never knows when it will have loose stool. She has stomach pains before she eats after she east and from most foods. The only food that doesn't seem to cause issue is water. She has had this problem for years and is just now escalated over the last 6 to 9 months.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I read carefully all your concerns and I am sorry for the situation she is in.

Regarding her symptoms I can say as follows:

1. She need to be examined with :
- upper endoscopy
- colonoscopy
- fecal test for malabsorbtion
- serological test for Celiac disease
2. Her symptoms may be related with :
- Celiac disease
- GERD
- IBD
- Hashimoto thyroiditis. I need to know if she has been treated properly and What are TSH, T3,T4 level?

I am waiting her medical data to check them by myself.

Wish her fast recover and a Happy New Year.
