Brief Answer:
Urinary infection is likely cause.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, let me advise you, that your father's symptoms maybe due to urinary infection. Hence, he should have urine routine and culture test done.
He can get some relief with Syrup Citralka, mixed in a glass of lime juice, twice daily maybe better, if his cardiologist doesn't mind.
If he can get blood creatinine, sugar,Na, K, and PSA tested, with an ultrasound scan of abdomen done, it'll be ideal.
The cause of the urinary symptoms, is likely to be due to an enlarged prostate.
If you're unable to show your local doctor there, for whatever reason, send the reports here, with present medication, for an expert opinion.
Wishing your dad, good health.
