Brief Answer:
it is not a nerve disease

Detailed Answer:
Hello there. I have been through your question and understand your concern.

The complaints reported above are quite usual and do not need further evaluation nor examinations beyond those already performed.

It may be related to some condition of the aorta or other major vessels. You may consult a surgeon for it. I also notice some mood affection and recommend a psychiatric consult to take some treatment about your mood.

Wish you the best health.

Brief Answer:
I recommend Amitriptyline

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.

The pain in the shoulder could have several causes, like arthritis(excluded somehow with your rheumatoid exams), muscle diseases or nerve conditions. The nerve or nervous system affection are sometime propagated to your extremities like the arm in your case, but it is not related to air, or the dry skin. There could be MRI as an additional exam to rule out any spine damage, but I frankly do not see any indication. The pain in the hands which is reported intermittent is not likely to be associated with nervous system disease. It might have rheumatoid factors involved which blood exams do not necessarily exclude.

That is why I thought for you to begin with mood stabilizers and follow the complaints evolution. If you were at my clinic I would start with Amitriptyline which is a mood stabilizer and helps in nerve regeneration.

Hope this helps with your questions, please feel free for further questions.

Brief Answer:
Probably fibromyalgia. Rheumatologist consult

Detailed Answer:
Hello.

About the treatment of blood pressure and cholesterol drugs you should consult your Cardiologist. Generally there is no interaction between these drugs.

The irritable bowel syndrome instead (stressed colon) is very often related to neurological and psychiatric conditions, like fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome, and some studies show a high percentage of mild psychiatric condition with IBS. You should have mentioned it earlier. So yes, stressed colon can be related to pain in the shoulder and in the arms, But first you should be sure that it is a Fibromyalgia by seeing a Rheumatologist.

I highly recommend a rheumatologist consult, cause a probable Fibromyalgia could explain most of your symptoms.

Brief Answer:
I think rheumatologist consult would be appropriate

Detailed Answer:
Hello.

I think a rheumatologist consult would be appropriate toward a fibromyalgia. It would help towards the diagnosis. Still, amitriptyline is a good medication even in such eventuality. Inform me please on the results of the consult.

Best regards

Brief Answer:
I recommend amitriptyline

Detailed Answer:
Hello again. I read your queation and understand your concern.

Since your mood affects remembering names, which happens not regularly, I would exclude memory impairment. Still, you may do some memory test to ascertain and rule definitely out any memory problem. The memory tests are performed by your GP because are quite simple.

The bad thoughts as well are related to your mood. That is why I still would perscribe a mood stabilizer. Talk to your GP about this.
Once you begin this therapy in a few weeks time I would expect some improvement.
Hope this helos with your answer, please feel free for further queations.

You mean that it's not mind problem and might be from anxity?
Is this your evaluation ?

Brief Answer:
improbable being a cerebral problem

Detailed Answer:
Hello. I dont think this is a central nervous system problem, with which I mean it is not a structural damage which explaines your complaints.

I think your anxiety interferes with your complaints. So I believe once you take a mood stabilizer, not all your complains might go away, but they will become more specific.
