Brief Answer:
There are better antispasmodics than Ibuprofen

Detailed Answer:
Hello Madam

I can certainly understand your concern. I worked through your query in detail.

As per your latest reports, the possibility of pain in lower abdomen need further evaluation. If you are my patient I advise you to get a complete stool examination and upper GIT Endoscopy for further assessment.

I feel there is something better to do that what is done. Meanwhile, I prescribe oral pills of Buscopan and Cetrizine once daily at bedtime for symptomatic improvement. I find them to be better pain medication than Ibuprofen which is an NSAID. In fact a better NSAID with antispasmodic properties is Mefenamic acid along with Dicyclomine. Let your doctor know his thoughts about this.

Further management if any is based on test results.

Post your questions if any.
Thank you.
