Question: I am suffering at present from a severe lack of sleep and stress. The main symptom during the day is dizziness, especially when I walk. Is this a normal symptom for lack of sleep.
I am at present doing some sleep excercises to help my insomnia which I hope will work.

Brief Answer:
lack of sleep can cause dizziness.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I can understand your concerns.

Inadequate or total lack of sleep can lead to dizziness and heaviness in head in daytime.
This is a normal thing.

But, I would still suggest you to get your blood pressure checked as altered BP can also commonly cause this symptom.

Please continue with your sleep exercises.
If needed, you can also consider taking sleep inducing drugs like zolpidem or clonazepam (prescription drugs) depending on severity of your problem.

Hope this helps.
Feel free to ask further.
Thanks.

Regards.
