Brief Answer:
Possible Diagnosis: Strangulated hernia

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic

The location of pain and acute onset is suggestive of possible Strangulated hernia.
Strangulation of hernia can result in decreased blood flow to the bowel loops, therefore worsening pain.
It requires immediate medical attention to avoid complications like perforation of bowel.
Treatment is with surgery.

Please be advised to follow up with nearest emergency room for further management.
