Hi! Welcome to health care magic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all, it is sad to know what you had gone through.

Based on the history you have shared, it is quite possible that resting heart rythm remains in normal range but if you do some exertion they might change. Transient arrythmias are also quote possible.

I would suggest you to get thyroid levels checked, serum electrolytes and have an excercise tolerance test to see after subjecting your heart to a challenge what happens. If that shows abnormality stress Echo or thalium scan mat also be needed.

It's also possible that these subjective feelings are due to stretch of stomach part or oesophagus at diaphragm slit. I would also suggest to have CT chest and lower abdomen to assess that if hiatal hernia is increasing in size and needs surgical repair or not?

Hope this has answered your query, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.
