Brief Answer:
Measures to reduce hair fall and address the issue of lack of glow

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

I have gone through your concern and I have understood it.

I would like to know whether you have dandruff/ seborrheic dermatitis?
If YES, I would advice that you should use a ketoconazole based antidandruff shampoo e.g Nizoral, which is an OTC Brand, thrice weekly for 2-4 weeks and followed by once or twice weekly.

If NOT suffering from dandruff, you can use any of the daily use OTC shampoos like Dove, sunsilk, pantene, tressme etc along with a good conditioner after shampoo.

I would keep a possibility of either Telogen effluvium as the cause of your hair fall.

Scalp hair grows for 2-3 years (Anagen phase) after which it enter the catagen phase (transition phase) which is followed by resting phase (Telogen phase).

Hair can prematurely enter from growth phase (Anagen) to resting phase (telogen) resulting in increased shedding/ Telogen effluvium.

There are certain well known causes of Telogen effluvium...

--Deficient Iron Stores
--Hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism
--Post partum(after delivery)
--Post Surgical or following a Medical illness (typhoid, malaria, dengue etc)
--Weight loss/ Dieting etc

You may test for thyroid and serum ferritin levels.

In my practice I usually ask my patients of Telogen Effluvium to take an oral Iron Supplement along with a Biotin supplement for 4-6 months together. This you have been already taking.

Follihair tablets are basically hair supplements and contain multiple ingredients like Biotin, Iron, Calcium pantothenate etc. They are helpful in controlling hair fall and help to restore good hair health.

However they need to be taken for at least 4-6 months at a stretch. The action is slow, therefore don't expect immediate results. It is advisable to take them for a good 1-2 months to judge whether they are going to be effective Or not.

Besides you may also start with 2% minoxidil solution, which is a non-specific hair growth promoter.
It can be applied at the scalp skin, twice daily with a dropper (1ml twice daily). Minoxidil is a hair growth promoter and helps in rapid transition of hair follicle from resting phase (telogen) back to growth phase (Anagen).

Hair fall is slow to respond and treatment may have to be continued for months to see noticeable improvements, say 4-6 months.

Regarding the issue of lack of glow, it could be because of tanning, pigmentation, dry skin and certain other factors like open pores/ oily skin etc.

Stay away from strong sun and avoid going outdoors when the sun intensity is strongest i.e 10 AM to 3 PM.
Use an umbrella Or broad brimmed hats whenever out in the sun.
Besides these general measures, you may use a broad spectrum sunscreen, throughout the day. Reapply every 2-3 hours.
You may find a broad spectrum sunscreen OTC e.g L'oreal, Neutrogena, Garnier are all good brands of sunscreens that are available OTC.
A sunscreen should be broad spectrum i.e have both UV A as well as UV B coverage.
A sunscreen with minimum spf of 30 and above would be suitable.

Besides this you may use a pigment lightening cream containing ingredients like glycolic acid, kojic acid, arbutin etc.
Glycolic acid belongs to class of Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) and is particularly good for skin because it is exfoliating i.e removes dead cells and reveals young healthy looking cells.
Due to its exfoliating action glycolic acid is also helpful in fading away the XXXXXXX and therefore lightens the complexion and thus improves glow.
Glycolic acid is antiageing as well and delays fine lines and wrinkles.
It is available in concentrations of 6% - 10% in many OTC products.

Unlike glycolic acid which is exfoliating, Kojic acid and arbutin are inhibitors of melanogenesis and are therefore also helpful in improving complexion.
These ingredients, particularly glycolic acid are available in many OTC products and you may find one from a local drug store near you.

E.g You may try Pond's Day Cream with SPF 15PA++ which also contains sunscreen, therefore there is no need to use a sunscreen separately.

At night you may use Pond's night repair cream.

These both OTC brands and you would find them at a drug store near you.

These OTC brands are commonly promoted as antiageing because they contain AHA's (Glycolic acid) and Retinol which are antiageing as well as good to maintain a healthy, younger looking skin.

There are various other treatments which you can undergo to address these e.g the most simple and commonly used is glycolic peel.

Glycolic acid peel has various advantages like: pigment reduction, reduces pore size, reduces acne, evens out uneven skin tone and reduces oiliness.

You can take glycolic peel session from a dermatologist.
