Brief Answer:
Ribs fracture is possible.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

As in the kidney region, ribs and muscles are located, this structures are the most probable source of pain. Injured kidney usually does not hurt at all. Fractured rib or injured muscle give pain which lasts for about 3 weeks. Such pain gets more intense when moving or breathing.
As the pain gets worse day by day, it would be good to have some tests done. Abdominal ultrasound seems necessary (to rule out possible spleen injury and kidney hematoma) and ribs x-ray.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
