Question: Sharp shooting pains mid abdomen, vomitting with no nausea. He is on day four of treatment for strep throat. He is taking a Z pack and phenagran/codeine.

The cause of vomiting and pain in the abdomen is due to Antibiotic Azithromycin.
Please stop Z pak.
I give injection Rantac to my patients with similar complaints.
If facilities for injection are not available, I prescribe Rabeprazole and Domperidone combination capsule to my patients.
Nothing to worry.
It will come down.
