Brief Answer: Get yourself examined by an ENT specialist. Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for writing your query. After reading your post, i would like to advise that you should get yourself clinically examined and investigated by an ENT specialist. Following investigations will be helpful to rule out the metabolic causes of tinnitus(ringing in ears) :- 1. Thyroid profile. 2. Lipid profile. 3. Vitamin B12 levels. 4. Hemoglobin level. 5. Complete Iron study. Following precautions can be helpful :- 1. Avoid loud noises. 2. Use ear plugs to give some relief. 3. Avoid ototoxic drugs, if any. 4. Avoid excessive coffee. It is seen that sound therapy has some relief in some cases. I hope this is helpful to you. If you have any further query, I will be happy to help. Thanks.
