Brief Answer:
Orchitis or epididymitis are common possibilities

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I would like to start by asking you if you have any of the following symptoms, and if you do, please write back to me mentioning the same. They are:
-Pain around scrotum, testes; and if present whether on one or both sides
-Mild swelling
-Tenderness of the scrotum or testicles
-Variations in body temperature
-Warm scrotum

What could be the most common causes are conditions like orchitis or epididymitis. Another rare condition is called red scrotum syndrome.

I would either way suggest a doctors consultation, as the more common conditions can easily be treated, but need to be diagnosed by a doctor.

I hope you find my response helpful and informative. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to further assist you.

Best wishes.
