Brief Answer:
These symptoms indicate allergic reaction of the eyes.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I am Dr. Dadapeer K, an ophthalmologist and I will be answering your question.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having red, dry eyes with irritation and stinging sensation.
These symptoms indicate allergic affection of the eyes in the form of allergic conjunctivitis. Since you are having a history of allergic reaction to codeine, this can be a part of the allergic response. These symptoms does not indicate eye infection or sinus related problem.

This requires treatment by the use of artificial tears and antiallergic drugs.
I usually prefer to use artificial tears eye drops like Refresh tears and anti-allergic drugs like olopatadine eye drops.
The condition will resolve over 2-3 weeks depending on the severity of the allergic reaction.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination to assess the severity of the allergic reaction and prescription of drugs.

Hope this is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you

Hello
Thank you for the follow up question.

Allergic inflammation of the eye presents with redness and it appears like pink eye. The absence of watering, discharge from the eye rules out pink eye.
Clear eyes being a decongestant eye drop will help to relieve this redness.

If possible do send photo of the eye so that I can confirm the diagnosis and advice you accordingly.

Hope this is helpful to you.
